Vestre introduced their campaign ‘Nordic life in Urban Spaces’ in 2017 and decided to take this vision to various cities around Europe. Taylex Displays Ltd worked with Vestre for their Manchester, London and Paris events from Sept 2017
In 2018 we were their logistical partners for an installation at the Manchester Art Gallery, Brixton, London. Then in September we project managed their participation as corporate sponsors of the LI, in partnership with IFLA Europe and the University of Greenwich Department of Landscape, 2018 conference.
In 2019 we have provided event management and logistics to their participation in events in Festival of Place held at Tobacco Dock, London in July.
In September we have also visited Bath and Glasgow as event partners too.
What we did
At each event, the aim is to showcase Vestre to each urban community and provide the opportunity for their products not only to be displayed but to be utilised as the event furniture and social features.
Therefore, visitors could personally experience how versatile each piece was along with the design vision that Vestre embraces.
Their design philosophy affects the products all the way from conception to completion and placement. They give free rein to designers in the concept development phase, where they often collaborate closely with landscape architects and other planners.
With regards to event managing these type of bespoke live events Taylex have to provide logistics for all the showcased products which are manufactured to survive the toughest elements and therefore obviously are very sturdy, heavy and high-quality products not moved more than just on installation.
We liaise with each of the different event venues with the access of the HGV loads of product while respecting the venue, all their health, and safety regulations, especially when the venue was a space with a delicate or high-end floor finish.
We also worked with Vestre to provide further services such as catering, entertainment, staging and sound, promotional branding, event staff for welcoming the visitors and a promotional video and photography service for the Vestre UK marketing team
