Kawasaki: MCL double-deck take two!

Kawasaki: MCL double-deck take two!

The curtains have closed on this year’s exceptional Motorcycle Live exhibition at the NEC and here at Taylex Group, we’re proud to have a number of clients we annually support enhancing their brand presence through inspiring stand builds.

We take a look into Kawasaki’s participation at Motorcycle Live, one of the most anticipated trade events in the two-wheeled world. As engines roared, Kawasaki took center stage to unveil its latest innovations and product ranges.

In our latest blog, we delve into an interview with the Kawasaki team, exploring the driving force behind their presence at Motorcycle Live…

What is special about the Motorcycle Live Show for you? Can you point us to some particular highlights?

It’s a great chance for us to meet our customers and Club members whilst showcasing the Kawasaki brand. We particularly enjoy meeting the customers who live and breathe the brand!

What made you decide to go for a double-deck stand?

We first used the double-deck stand last year at Motorcycle Live and it was deemed a huge success. The ability to offer a private, elevated area for our valued Kawasaki Club members to relax and enjoy an elevated view of the stand and surrounding halls is very special. In addition, the visual impact of a double deck stand is huge, especially as we are the only stand in the entire show using this. We don’t often have customers speak to us about the stand structure itself, but we had many customers convey how impressive it made the Kawasaki stand feel.

How do customers/clients react to the Kawasaki stand when they see it?

They are blown away, in their eyes it’s above any other brand at the show. They say they feel special to be able to go upstairs on the stand and be able to see the NEC from a whole new angle.

What are the main insights you hear from customers/clients at the show?

“Impressive”
“Stood out above the rest”
“Bloody good stand and lovely people”
“Thank you for looking after us from day 1”
“Best stand at the show”
“Club Kawasaki was epic, one hell of a stand”

Are there any interesting trends you’re seeing with motorcycle stand builds at exhibitions?

The main trend we are seeing is how manufacturers are trying to increase the amount of customer engagement opportunities the stand gives. Whilst we all of course want our customers to come onto the stand and experience the bikes on display, their time with us needs to go beyond that and feel that they have had an engaging experience with Kawasaki. There are many ways that this is being seen now, but often it is experiences that are built into the design of the stand, such as the Moto Trainer simulator that we had at Motorcycle Live this year.

What are you most looking forward to at Motorcycle Live this year?

Seeing our customers again and getting their feedback on the new models

Anything else you’d like to share with us?

Just a big thank you to Taylex for making the show such a success, we couldn’t do the job without you.
