Carluccio’s Pop Up
Pannetone “Part Bread, Part Cake”. Having managed to overcome regional boundaries, Panettone is now regarded as the “Truly National Cake” of Italy.
Carluccios as world-class purveyors of these traditional Italian Christmas treats commissioned Taylex to create and deliver their first pop-up experience. With a relatively small window of opportunity, Carluccio’s brief was for the complete Design and build of a fully branded Christmas installation within the iconic St Pancras Station, London.
Business commuters to festive revelers, Christmas shoppers to weary travelers all contributed to the enormous footfall enjoyed by Carluccio’s Christmas offering.

What we did
An early December completion date, with all of its inherent logistical hurdles, was achieved following extensive consultation with all stakeholders, including venue management and client representatives, the Taylex team showed total flexibility when instructed that subsequent removal between Christmas and New Year was a prerequisite, a task undertaken with professionalism and good humour.
Only produced between September and December, Pannetone by Carluccios has become an annual “Go-To” festive treat together with the Taylex team, St Pancras is by no means the final destination of the Festive Taylex Team.
