Kieren Clark Race Win

Kieren Clark Race Win

At Taylex Group, we take pride in supporting the motorsport industry and have had the opportunity to collaborate with several companies in both two and four-wheel racing. During the recent Easter weekend, we were thrilled to support our support driver, Kieren Clark at the Masters Historic Race Weekend at Donnington Park.

Masters Historic Racing was established by Ron Maydon, an individual with a vision to revolutionize motor racing. The event took place on a beautiful Good Friday, with sunshine radiating over the paddock, illuminating the daffodils. John Spiers secured pole position, with three TVR Griffiths following close behind. The C2 class witnessed an exciting battle between Brian Caudwell in his Austin Healey and Keith Ahlers in his Morgan SLR. Kieren Clark also participated in this class.

As the race progressed, Kieren Clark took the lead from C2 class leader Brian Caudwell, maintaining his position and creating a six-second gap between himself and Hywel Evans. In the third Big Healey, Chris Clarkson fought against Michael Russell for third place in class, while the Allan & Daniel Ross-Jones Triumph TR4 moved up to fifth.

During the latter stages of the race, Kieren Clark had established himself as a dominant force, entering the top ten and leading C2 by a lap from Hywel Evans and by two laps from Chris Clarkson. Kieren Clark finished tenth overall and emerged as the winner of the C2 class.
