About Taylex Displays
Taylex Displays was founded in May 2007 by father and son team Karl and Tony Clark and still remains a family business today with Tony heading up sales and Karl chief of operations.
Since the beginning of the adventure, the business has emerged as one of the leading exhibition solution providers in the Midlands, a position which has been strengthened by collaboration with some of the bigger design house names in the exhibition world over past years.
Taylex Displays began with the acquisition of a small industrial unit 5 minutes away from the M5 motorway and at the time employed 3 staff. Karl ran the business from the front, working hands on with his team to design and build stands for his growing customer base. It soon became apparent Taylex would outgrow the small unit, the idea being that the company would naturally expand as clients shared their experience of working with Taylex with other exhibitors.
In 2010 the operation was moved to a larger unit on the same site, a fleet of vehicles was established and over the coming months a large storage space was secured leaving room for expansion over the coming years.
At the end of 2013 the company employed a total of 10 staff and holds strong relationships with sub-contractors to assist during periods of high workload. The company also boasts an in-house design team, strong project managers, a graphics department and an extensive stock of stand components, furniture and AV equipment.
In the future, Taylex is looking to build on the success of the past and strive to provide the best service in the industry to it’s clients.
